Good view and the food was above average. Overall, the restaurant is in need of an update and remodel. I would be fine taking my family and friends here but perhaps not any business clientele that you want to impress.
The food was amazing and Macy was awesome very personable, she made us feel right at home. Thanks T.Shipp
This place is awesome. We had never been here before and found it on yelp. Clearly a hidden gem. The food was great. Fun menus. And service was outstanding. Tyrone was delightful. We will definitely request his section in the future.
I had an amazing experience at Odyssey! The "paid vacation" cocktails were absolutely fantastic, served in adorable glasses and incredibly refreshing, definitely the highlight of the evening. The salmon was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and we swapped the mashed potatoes for fries. The service was excellent - attentive, friendly and made us feel welcome. On top of all this, the stunning view from the restaurant elevated the whole experience, making the evening truly unforgettable. Highly recommend Odyssey for an unforgettable dining experience.
If you are a fan of Castaway in Burbank, this place will feel right at home. Slightly different views, same awesome vibe and amazing service. Food on point, unexpectedly good for a gem location with awesome views. Chris A. was our server. He was attentive, helpful, and elevated our dinner experience. We will be asking for him again when we return. This place is tucked away, and offers a quaint experience. Worth a trip out of the way.
The food is 10 out of 10. And the service is great. Macy took care of us. Very friendly, love her. Also Hector our food runner was amazing and super friendly.
Macy was an amazing and attentive server! She was fun and food here never disappoints!
We celebrated my cousins birthday party here and had a wonderful time. The food is decadent. The ambience is dark and moody, and the view of the city is breathtaking. Highly recommend.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary over dinner here recently. We wanted to have dinner at sunset, and The Odyssey really filled the bill. As far as the atmosphere, it would be tough to match the view of the Valley from the outdoor patio. They have misters for extra hot days and heaters for cooler evenings. We came on a Sunday evening. It wasn't too crowded, and there was plenty of parking available. There is also ample indoor dining as well, but we really enjoyed the patio. Only criticism is the service, and not because of the servers... they were actually very good, but they were a bit overwhelmed by the number of tables each one had... it seems The Odyssey didn't have enough servers to make it as fast and efficient as it could have been. Thus, 4 stars. I have been to The Odyssey many times over a lot of years and never had any complaints about the food. It's always been very good. This time, my wife and I each got a lobster tail with mashed potatoes and a side of broccoli. The food was delicious. In the past, I've enjoyed the filet and lobster as well as grilled chicken. Their steaks are high quality and cooked nicely. Sometimes I forget what a great place this is for the occasional special evening out or happy hour at the bar. We really do enjoy this place!
Went to an association meeting at The Odyssey which I was very excited about because I had not been here in a couple years. The scenery and view is gorgeous as always, especially on a clear day as it was you can see quite far. We were in a very spacious meeting room which definitely could have fit many more people, it was well ventilated, and they had microphones so easy to hear the speakers. In terms of food, I remember the food at The Odyssey being yummy, and when I heard mushroom ravioli was on the menu I was so excited because I love a good mushroom ravioli. Several others I knew got the Salmon plate with the mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. Prior to our main course, we were served an appetizer, I think it was a fishcake with a bed of corn in some creamy sauce. This was very very tasty!!! Later we were served the food as we listened to the very interesting lecture. Everyone who got the Salmon was raving about the mashed potatoes and the person to my right was obsessed with the broccoli! If I ever go back I will go for the Salmon plate. Unfortunately, the mushroom ravioli that I ordered was not as I expected. It was a bit dry, and as you can see in the photo there's literally only raviolis and mushrooms. The ravioli is also filled with mushroom inside. The ravioli sits on a bed of pesto sauce, but honestly it was not enough sauce, the ravioli itself seemed a bit dry. I felt my plate to be lacking and I was wishing that I had some sort of side to go with it, instead of just a pile of mushrooms in the center. Dessert was a cheesecake with barely a drizzle of strawberry sauce and to be honest the cheesecake tasted boxed. I don't usually mind boxed, but at least could have some extra strawberry sauce to enhance the taste. I was not impressed with the cheesecake unfortunately. Overall, the ambiance, location, appetizer, and interesting meeting topic made the experience pleasant. There was a sign at the front showing weekly specials, Tuesdays tacos and tequila, Wednesdays 50% off wine by the bottle, Thursday wine and dine three course meal, Friday Jazz Night, Saturday Electro Brunch, and Sunday All day Happy Hour. I would definitely like to return to check out Jazz night, Electro Brunch, and happy hour!
